Is it just me or do a whole lot of the stuff in the “Christmas” ads frankly suck this year. I am uninspired. Uninspired as to what to ask for, uninspired as to what to give. Now this could lend itself to a whole other post about how I have too much stuff, and don’t we all have too much stuff, and consumerism-bad, what about the true meaning of Christmas. All very good and valid points, but not where this post is going (and it is going somewhere…promise). I just have been a bit clueless this year when it comes to gift giving.

Should I get a dog just to score a new vaccum specifically designed to pick up dog hair? Is this product necessary in life? When we had our dog a vac that could actually pick up her hair (fur?) would have made cleaning much easier. Now that she has left us (she lived a long good life) over a year ago yet her hair lives on in all the corners & crevices of the house. I’d say get the vac but forget the dog unless you are really a dog lover!!!! The kids should provide you with enough opportunity to test that vac’s real abilities.
