I'm part of an organization called, Parentless Parents, and we're using Grandparents Day to honor those grandparents our children no longer have in their lives. I'd just noticed it on my handy dandy holiday calendar and wanted to do something special. I'd heard of the day before but didn't know when it was. I cherish my memories too.
