I like it! I love getting cards at Christmas (or anytime) Blessings…

How cute! That is one I may have to use myself! Merry Christmas!

That’s great! We always display our too.

What a cute idea! I always hang them in our entryway, but I love how this looks. Thanks for the great idea.

except when you don’t have door frames… I’m still at a loss as to what to do with mine!
My mom does the whole door frame thing though!

Very cute!

I love it! I need to do that.

Yes! We did this last year by our front door and it’s a great conversation piece too!

I do the door frame thing too, except I hang a string and staple the cards on (I’m anal about not putting tape on the woodwork!).

I do mine around my window in the dining room. Because we live in an older house & have cute divided windows that fold open in the summer…I have more space to put them up. I too am anal and put up according to orientation

this is great. i love seeing everyone’s cards too.
what do you do with the cards at the end? i always feel so bad throwing them away, especially the really pretty ones, but i don’t think i could save them all forever!?
[Reply]
I do this too. It just adds a special touch to the room, doesn’t it? Thanks for sharing! Merry Christmas to you!

That’s a great idea! I love getting cards and letters too.

That looks so good. That is a good idea.

Too funny, that is why my mom always did, and still does, with her cards. I agree, you do need to display them or they really seem almost pointless and wasteful.
Of course, sadly, I haven’t sent cards in a couple years so I have been quickly wiped off most other’s lists. I could display the 3 cards I got so far, but that would be a lot more depressing than decorative.

We do this exact thing, um, er, without all the arranging by vertical/horizontal… It looks so festive and I always hate taking it down after the holidays!
[Reply]
That is such a great idea, I’ve been trying to figure out how on earth to display all my Christmas cards. Thanks!
[Reply]
I love this idea. Thank you.
[Reply]
We do that, too!

Great idea! But this year I haven’t got many cards… odd. Even at the post office there weren’t the piles usually lying in bins! I was beginning to wonder if people just stopped doing cards! Ha!
[Reply]
That’s nice.
I have a line through the room and hang all the cards and angels on them.
The kids love it.

Oh my goodness, the children in the upper right hand corner are beautiful – you are so fortunate to know such attractive people
You know, you are right. The basket of cards doesn’t really show them off. This goes in the ‘notes for next year’ file…

I must need to get on the stick and actually SEND out cards because I’m lucky if we get more than three or four! lol Love this idea, however!

That’s a great idea! We usually put ours on the side of the refrigerator and leave them up all year long. I like the festive look of the door fram thing though. I might just try that.

I totally do the same thing – double sided tape and orientation, too! It’s a fun way to decorate. My mom also puts hers in her tree.
[Reply]
Easy, cute and so practical–love it!
[Reply]
i like that! but more importantly, i need to know more about the color of the walls in the next room! me likey
[Reply]
We stick ours on our front door (on the back) and when we run out of room we put them on the fridge!
