We spend the first hour socializing and the second hour discussing the book. We just read " The Story of Edgar Sawtelle" by David Wroblewski. It was great - I definitely recommend it! We meet the first Sunday night of the month and have read all kinds of stuff. I love that it pushes me to read things I wouldn't normally pick up and forces me to read at least one adult book a month. It combines all of my loves: books, friends, fellowship, and good food! I love it. Sometimes we have theme food (Swedish food from Ikea when we read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo). I go even if I haven't read the book, which has only happened with books I didn't like and put down (American Wife, Eat Pray Love). We even have extra movie nights if our book was made into a movie. I love these ladies and it would be the last thing I would give up if I had to cut back on activities. We are currently reading The Book of Bright Ideas, but I haven't started it yet.
