I love figure skating, because hello? Cutting Edge? One of my favorite sappy movies? But that’s about it. I do think the ski jumping – or whatever it’s called – is cool, but I’m not going to turn on the TV for it. Yeah…I’m not a huge fan of the winter Olympics either.
Mainly I’m not a fan of the Olympics interrupting my normal TV viewing, to be honest. That’s a real bummer.

are we the same person? Honestly!! The Cutting Edge. I love it. And when you get right down to it, I have to agree. Not a fan of interrupted TV. Thankfully American Idol and Lost are not reruns this week.

I feel the same way! I was never into them before but my son has the fever so we’ve been taping and watching them together and i have to admit i got the fever too GO USA

I don’t care for them either. I did dig the opening ceremony of the Summer 2008 games, but mainly because I was heavily medicated, having birthed a baby just hours before.
Maybe I’ll get more into them when the kids are old enough to want to watch them. For now, I’ll just stick to feigning a mild interest when it comes up in conversation.

Honestly, I don’t care about the winter Olympics at all either. My daughter also loved the Opening Ceremonies too and it was neat watching with her. I’m just not into snow, cold, and ice especially when I just got done shoveling it. I wonder if I’d be more interested if the Winter Olympics took place in the summer when I’m too hot to even think?
