You are one of the few people with whom I differ but still am 100% comfortable talking to you about politics. I am so tired of this and ready for it to be over - I can't stand one more nasty slam from either side, or worse, having that heartbreak-y feeling when I talk with someone I realize has done nothing but watch commercials to decide how to vote. I could not agree with you more! I always base my voting choice on moral issues. My friends say I'm naive. I trust God with the future of our country and always vote based on who would hold up the biblical values we are soooo lacking! I don't depend on gov't to pad my wallet...I depend on God. I couldn’t agree more! I saw that same footage of people saying they really like Obama’s running mate pick – Palin. Huh? Voting is powerful and people should take it seriously, do their research, understand their issues and KNOW that when you do go to the poles if there are offices/candidates that you don’t know anything about you don’t have to vote for either side. I don’t think enough people know that you can leave some areas on the ballot blank if you feel you’re not informed enough to choose.

This has been quite a race… but the negative ads are terrible. You definitely can’t learn about the candidates stance on anything from those.

I’m pretty certain about my candidate too, but I hate what this race has become– name-calling, prejudices, extremes… I just can’t wait for tomorrow when we (barring all other insanity) will have a new President!
