What’s Goin On (Plus a GIVEAWAY)

calendar Here are some fun contests going on right around the web, plus a fun little quick giveaway right here on this very blog!

  • As you well know, grabbing your somewhat cumbersome diaper bag as you leave the house can be a hassle – especially when you are just going out for a short time. So, thru December 11th, with the purchase of any Pampers Big Pack (48 ct or larger) at participating stores, consumers can receive a small, lightweight diaper clutch that is just big enough and especially designed to hold one diaper and wipes.  It’s the perfect size for quick trips away from home. Specially-marked packages of Pampers Big Pack Diapers will also include coupons worth up to $20 in savings on future purchases. Would you like your very own adorable diaper clutch? Leave a comment on this post to be entered to win. Contest ends Wed. Dec. 9th when the winner will be chosen by random.org. Good luck!!

  • Pepsi has teamed up with Animoto for a contest to “Share the Joy.” Pepsi will award five winners who submit an Animoto video, that uniquely features their happiest memories from 2009, a black Flip MinoHD™ Camcorder and a year’s supply of Pepsi. January 2nd is the deadline. To enter, head over to Animoto for more details. I love, love, love my Flip. Let me know if you enter and I will come vote for you.

  • Better Homes and Gardens, in partnership with the Pepperidge Farm® Puff Pastry brand, is encouraging home chefs everywhere to enter the 1,2,3 Puff! Recipe Contest for a chance to win a trip to The Big Apple! Contestants may submit up to three entries, one for each category: appetizer, main dish, and dessert. To enter, contestants must create an original recipe with Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry Sheets or Shells and upload a photograph of the finished recipe to www.123PuffPastry.com/contest. Finalist entries will be displayed on www.123PuffPastry.com and visitors may vote for their favorite entries from January 15 through February 1, 2010. The Finalist with the overall highest number of votes will be revealed in March 2010, will win the Grand Prize of an exciting trip to New York City and may have their recipe featured in an upcoming issue of Better Homes and Gardens magazine. This is so not my forte. I am more of a “follow every recipe with true type A precision” kind of person, but I know some of you can invent recipes like no other. Again, let me know if you enter and I will come vote for you. So long as you take me to NYC with me or tell Better Homes and Gardens what a rock star blogger I am. Deal?

I have a diaper “clutch” of my own…but it’s a fabric envelope stitched together with cardboard inserts. LOL, I need a real one. :)
