Just wanted to give you all a quick update on some great holiday things going on over on Sprout this holiday season. Just in case all that holiday vacation and sugar combine to cause you to need a teeny tiny break from your children. Not that I know anything about this. We will be caroling, sharing all our new toys and baking cookies for the needy with no TV whatsoever. Ahem.
- Premiering on Dec. 24th at 5:30 pm ET, a new musical (love me a musical!!): Preschool Musical on Two Sticks. What’s up with the sticks? Well the musical features stick puppets on an exciting journey through a snowstorm. Could be a new holiday classic. Here is a sneak preview.
- Third Annual Snooze-A-Thon: 12 hours of uninterrupted segments that encourage kids to go to bed on time since all of their favorite characters are already sleeping. Starts Dec. 24th at 6pm ET and continues through 6am ET on the 25th. I am REALLY wishing my 2 month old could watch this and figure out how to sleep through the night. IS twelve hours too much TV for a newborn?
- Countdown to Noon: Celebrate the New Year the preschool way as The Sunny Side Up Show crew counts down to noon starting December 31st at 11:30am ET. My kids love to celebrate New Years in some form or fashion. Noon sounds just about right.
