Things I Love Thursday- YogaToes (And A GIVEAWAY!!)

January 7, 2009

tilt  Man, it seems like forever since I have done a TILT post. Do you remember them? Will anyone play along? I hope so cause this week I got some incentive for you.

Have you heard of YogaToes? I had seen them advertised before and they totally peaked my curiosity. Then I saw them being Twittered about and I knew I had to check them out. So I asked the good people of YogaToes if I could review them and oh, would they mind sending me an extra pair to give to my fabulous readers. They agreed. Yippee!! I love given’ stuff away!!

But first I must tell you about these things. You know how heels just make everyone look better? Well they do me cause I am just squeakin’ past 5′2″ and I don’t really own a pair of flats. And I am also quite cheap. I would say frugal, but when it comes to shoes, I am just cheap. And I buy most of my shoes at Target and Payless. Which is good in terms of being able to amass large amounts of shoes, but my toes probably don’t really care that I need 6 pairs of black shoes that look very similar to each other. So they tend to not always be happy with me at the end of the day.

YogaToes are placed on your toes and they stretch and realign your toes after a long day of being squished into shoes. And I am thinking, toe stretching? Really? Is that even possible? Let me tell you it is. The reason I know this is that after having these babies on for 5 minutes, my toes are getting a little sore. Like if you stretched your hamstrings for a while. In fact, you are only supposed to start with these guys on for 5-15 minutes and build up to an hour. But those 15 minutes feel fantastic. And my feet don’t hate me so much anymore.

YogaToes also help to prevent and help with hammertoes, bunions and plantar fasciitis. Doesn’t that just scream sexy? Yeah, not really, but who wants those things? Not I. These are patented, super easy to use and come with a lifetime guarantee. Nothing comes with a lifetime guarantee anymore so I think that is really impressive. I have been using these regularly and I just love them. They are great to slip on at the end of the day.

And now you can too!! I have a fabulous pair of YogaToes to give away to a lucky reader. All you have to do is head over to their site and tell me what aspect of YogaToes you like best. Then leave me a comment. You can score an extra entry by posting your own Things I Love Thursday post on your blog. The guidelines for doing that are over here. Now pay attention cause many of you didn’t do this last time (tsk, tsk). If you participate, link up below then leave a separate comment telling me you did so. Yes, I can tell that by looking at my Mr. Linky, but I use random.org to pick a winner and I use the comments to do so. So help a sista out!!! Make sense? Good. Now comment and link away.

*I forgot to mention, the giveaway will be open until Sunday night at which time I will pick a winner.

And the winner is…my bestest friend Courtney!! I totally joked with her that I was going to rig this cause I know how badly she needs these, but Random.org picked her fair and square. Thanks to all who entered.

Wow, the yoga toes look amazing! I have never heard of them before, but I sure wish I had!

I definitely know what scrunched-toe syndrome is like and I can feel the relieve already. I’d also love to get some of these for my mom and sister who both suffer from bunions.

I was very surprised by how comfortable it looks too.

I would love a set of YogaToes for a few reasons…first being I seem to strain my feet alot-probably from constantly chasing children, and hubby seems to think I have poor circulation since when I get in bed at night, I violate his warm sleepiness with the ice cubes I call feet. =) Great giveaway btw!

I have been blessed with some not so great genes when it comes to feet. :-P All the women in my family have horrible bunions and they look well…horrible. The last couple years I’ve noticed mine starting and the bit of discomfort I get from it. I’ve thought about using my toes separators but they just don’t push them out enough – these would be awesome!! And hey, they’re BPA free too, so if the babe gets ahold of them at least I don’t have to freak out. :-) Well, maybe just a litte – I mean they were on feet!

Improve foot strength, flexibility & appearance.
Increase circulation, straighten bent toes, & realign joints.

I’m not big on wearing shoes that scrunch my toes. I’m a big lover of Keen shoes in the winter and barefoot or sandals all summer.

I do love to do yoga because it always makes me feel better from my head to my toes. I bet these really work for people who wear heals and pretty but incomfortable shoes all the time.

These would be nice on days after Mr Chiots and I are shooting and on our feet all day. We’re videographers by trade so when we shoot weddings, we’re on our feet for 16-18 hours usually on concrete or some other hard surface.

I NEED THESE! I need anything that can help me relax these days. We had the wonderful idea of buying a puppy for the familiy for Christmas. AHHH. Guess who doesn’t get any sleep!! At least when you have a new baby at home people at work understand that you are tired. But a puppy keeping you up, just doesn’t get the same sympathy.

I have seen these advertised lately and absolutely L-O-V-E the concept! Why didn’t I think of this sooner? Even though I’m 5′-10″, I wear heels almost every day, and at the end of the day it is a necessesity that I give myself a 15-30 min. foot massage. Otherwise, it takes forever to get relaxed. Thanks for the giveaways!

It is Friday, but I still did TILT on my blog.

The Yoga Toes would make the end of my work days so much more relaxing, since I am on my feet all day. I come home and kick my shoes off and put my feet up, or soak them. Since I enjoy foot rubs, which include stretching or pulling on my toes, I am sure the Yoga toes would feel great.
