Boy, high chairs sure have come a long ways since my kids were babies! My son and his wife who are now in the market to go high chair shopping for my new baby grandson, are looking at both the Svan and the Stokke. Both get good ratings!

We have 2 of these chairs for our 2 kids (5 and 2 yrs.) and LOVE them. We got the 1st one used and splurged and bought a new one (since we couldn’t find a used one again) for our 2nd child. Just one (b/c there are many) of the great things about these chairs is they are chairs for the long haul. We will probably have them forever and give them to our kids someday. Whenever we have company anyone weighing less than 150 lbs. can sit in it. They are so easy to clean too! We would buy another in a heartbeat if necessary! P.S. I would have loved the stroller too, but alas only so much $ to use

Thanks for posting your review. We’ve been going back and forth on whether this chair would be worth the cost or not. I think we’re going to go for it as we haven’t seen any negative comments.

Agreed! Bought this chair for my daughter w/ special needs when her therapist suggested that my daughter would feel more secure w/ both feet on a stable surface instead of "dangling." I have always wanted one of those Trip Trapp chairs! Problem is I’d have to buy 2 of them, and they’re obviously cost prohibitive. Oh well!
