Things I Love Thursday- Special K Crackers

January 15, 2009

tilt  In case you missed it yesterday, I am starving. Pretty much most of the time. So I am always on the look out for healthy snacks that don’t taste like cardboard. So when I was asked to try out the new Special K crackers I signed up. Plus they have 90 calorie packs. And I am a sucker for 100 calorie packs of any kind. 90 calorie packs are like 7-minute abs!!

Special K crackers come in Multi-grain and Italian Tomato & Herb and they are both delicious. They make a perfect afternoon snack or side to my lunch of low calorie soup. Even my kids like them which is fantastic cause they smell healthy a mile a way. And run a mile the other way.

Here is my summary. Great texture and crispiness. Good flavor (especially Italian Tomato & Herb, very good and strong flavor). I really think the 90 calorie serving size is a good amount. Since I am being psycho-anal I am actually counting them out and I find them to by a great snack size. So two thumbs up from me. And that is good, cause right now food and I are on thin ice.

What do you love? I would like to tell you to link up with your Things I Love Thursday post, but Mr. Linky is down. So you know what I am not loving? Mr. Linky!! But I would still love it if you would post something and just leave a comment so we can find you and send some traffic your way. Here are the guidelines in case you are new. Thanks for participating.

*Mr. Linky is now working so feel free to leave your link below.

You mean to tell me that eating a 1/2 tube of Ritz with my low calorie soup isn’t healthy?

Yeah, maybe I should try those crackers…

I haven’t heard of Special K Crackers, but I’ll bet they would be good. Everything else I’ve tried from that brand is good! Thanks for the great review! :)

My Things I Love is Masterpiece Classic on PBS. Not sure if a TV movie counts as a Thing, but I thought I’d put it out there anyway because I LOVE it! :)

Oh, I saw these in the store and thought, “That’s weird. They turned the cereal into a cracker?” Clearly, I was not looking at the box that closely.
