One of the things I find most frustrating at birthday and Christmas time is the lack of good toys for kids. Everything is full of bright lights, talking animals and all sorts of other bells and whistles, but my kids play with it for 5 minutes and are bored. It does nothing to stimulate their imagination or creativity. My kids will play with a box that they decorate with markers to look like a car for house on end. Anyone else think we are cheating our kids with the “toys” we give them to play with?
When the One2One Network asked me if I would review a new toy that stimulates kid’s creativity, I raised my hand high and yelled, “Pick me, pick me!!” The idea behind the toy is simple. Your child picks a body and then several body parts and they can create whatever they want. And all the parts are velcro so they can create or re-create as much as they want. The various parts are inexpensive so you can get a bunch and allow your children to create a multitude of creatures.
Smooshiesretail for $9.99 and extra parts are just $1.99. They are now available at JoAnn’s Fabrics and Micheal’s stores. In my paper, there are coupons almost every week for these 2 stores so you should be able to score and even better deal on this toy. What a great idea for a gift for your toddler or preschooler. And I have one to give away to you. If you are interested in winning, just leave me a comment below. So easy.
For an extra entry, participate in my Things I Love Thursday carnival by writing a post about what you love and link up with Mr. Linky below. Please read the guidelines and what that entails over here. As I said a few weeks ago, there have been a few posts lately that don’t really fit at all with the spirit of the carnival and if I find that to be the case, I reserve the right to delete it and you will simply be given one entry into the giveaway instead of two. Please don’t make me do that
You MUST leave a second comment if you link into the TILT carnival as I will be picking the winner solely from the comments using Random.org. Make sense? Hope so and good luck!

I bought something similar at a consignment sale for my baby–when she gets older! Would love to have it for “eventually.” I spent my childhood playing make-believe in the woods and choreographing whole ballets for me and my sister. I hope my daughter will do the same!
