I love 7th Generation – mainly for why you said … reasonably priced and still good!! I think hand washing is the biggest thing for us. I don’t overly do highchair or grocery cart covers (I know that grosses some out!), but handwashing is a must! And often!

Yay…I love disinfectant wipes, but I also feel bad for using them. I’ve been trying to use microfiber cloths but sometimes I just have to use the wipes!
I’d love to give them a try!

I hope it’s okay to keep entering recipes. I LOVE meatloaf, sounds crazy but true. I wouldn’t submit any recipes that I didn’t completely love!!
I will come back tomorrow and see the video, it isn’t working but I think it’s just my computer!! Thanks!

I’m trying to quit wipes too — trying to move towards 7th Gen Disinfecting Cleaner plus washable microfiber cloth. But the wipes are SO convenient, and I need some motivation to clean the bathroom.
I wash hands with my toddler singing the ABCs after church nursery, playing outside, etc.

My kids get so sick of hearing me say “Go wash your hands!” Lol It’s a wonder we have any skin left on our fingers as much as we wash!
I’m a huge believer in hand sanitizer, now that I don’t have babies to worry about (with the alcohol, etc.). But I am psyched to hear there is a “green” version of the cleaner wipes I also adore!!

My whole family washes their hands as soon as they come in the house. I also have the kids wipe doorknobs down as one of their Team Clean chores. So important all year, but especially during cold and flu season!
I’d love a clean floor but I’m quite a bummer when it comes to mopping.

Since my girl is under 2, the best thing I can do is keep her hands clean…by using wipes, soap, bathtime, whatever means necessary!

i keep those very same wipes in the bathroom while we’re potty training
my favorite thing about them is that they don’t have a “scent” like some of the other brands. just clean…nothing extra.

I love Seventh Generation! My best tip, which of course isn’t feasible for school aged kids, is that we stay home if the sickie germs seem to be particularly rampant! Other than that, bathes every day if we are out and about during cold and flu season. Usually because of my daughter’s sensitive skin, she gets a bath as needed. But if we leave the house during cold and flu season, she gets a bath. And we wash hands lots! And lots of healthy foods, plenty of water, and plenty of rest.

I agree with Kelly! My kids are home-schooled so we just stay home during cold and flu season. We also make sure that DH washes his hands as soon as he gets home. The kids wipe down the doorknobs. I do like to wash hands but not so often that we are losing skin. I also like the hand sanitizer, I just don’t like that it also kills the good germs.
I would LOVE the seventh generation cleaners for their green-ness! Thanks for hosting this giveaway!

When school starts, so will my smoothies. This is where I pack some spinach leaves in the blender with a little juice, puree, add organic yogurt, and then whatever- pureed carrots, wheat germ, honey, and frozen fruit, of course. Hopefully, this little cocktail will counteract a day of germs or poor eating! Freeze leftovers in popsicle molds.

Primary way to avoid germs: cover their mouths when they cough or sneeze, but they rarely get sick so it seems like it always a new lesson for them each illness.
Also, I actually let them eat a fair amount of dirt- I think it helps build the immune system to fight the really nasty stuff.

I try to use as many homemade and natural cleaners as possible to reduce my family’s exposure to unnecessary chemicals.
I like that Seventh Generation has this same goal.

We are always washing our hands (my 17 month old loves the water so this is an easy one!). We wipe down our toys, cups, etc and try to keep it simple and not too overwhelming! Would love to try these products in our house!
I use a cart cover to keep the germies away. I tend not to be super careful about germs. I figure we all need to get sick from time to time to help our immune systems to work properly, but I don’t invite illnesses by putting my baby in a cart where he will surely chew on the handle!

I have a Bath and Body Works hand sanitizer on this little rubber holder thing hooked onto my purse. It’s always handy, smells good, and my niece and nephew love to use it. Helps keep us healthy!

For us it’s washing hands often. This boy gets into all kinds of things that only boys can so handwashing is a must.
I use 7th Generation mainly for cleaning supplies and love them.

It’s fair to say I’m a huge germaphobe. I have hand sanitizer in almost every room where hand washing isn’t possible, and I clean doorknobs, remote controls, etc on a regular basis.
I try to make sure everyone gets enough sleep, eats right and lots of hand washing.

I make sure my kids drink plenty of water, eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, with proper sleep. They all help clean the house weekly too lol…
I try to make sure my kids are always washing their hands and using their antibacterial wipes after touching things, sneezing, going potty, and so on. I also give them vitamins and make sure they are eating plenty of healthy foods!

I make sure my kids wash their hands before and after everything. We also use hand sanitizer, and of course they are to cough & sneeze in their arm
I love to wash my hands and just doing it rubs off on the little one . . . he loves to imitate
