My son has some nasty blisters right now so we are going through neosporin like crazy. That stuff does work though, they are finally healing.

I took an unexpected break too. This sickness going around is no fun! But, don’t worry we’re still here!
I was racking my brain what to share for Things I Love Thursday this week, but can you believe that I couldn’t come up with a thing? I guess my mind is still foggy from the flu. I’ll have something for sure to share next week. I’m determined.

My kids are like that with band-aids too even if it is just a bruise
Though they want it to fall off before being taken off lol. My 3yo’s favorite medicine is popsicles or candy lol. She says “My tummy hurts” (while making faces) and then all serious like ” I think I need some candy”.

We love Neosporin around our house too!! it seems to prevent scars which i love since my skin is so fair that scars are more noticable.

My mom’s rule was we had to have “fresh blood” in order to get neosporin and a bandaid – otherwise we would put them ALL over ourselves

Ooh! Neosporin is right up there with bleach in my book. I had no idea there was a ‘to go’ option. Must get some… it can go right next to my Tide Bleach Pen.

I hate to rain on a parade, but I read in Consumer Reports that the Neo to Go spray isn’t the same as the ointment. Here is what they say:
“Neo spray isn’t Neosporin.
New Neo To Go first-aid spray from the maker of Neosporin displays the brand name on its label and promises, “infection protection, anytime, anywhere.” But the $5.30 pocket-size antiseptic spray is Neosporin in name only; it does not contain the three antibiotics in the original Neosporin ointment.
“If you want the ointment in a portable form, consider Neo To Go antibiotic, single-use packets for the same price as the spray. Tuck a tube of Neosporin ointment or a generic version in your purse or backpack. For minor scrapes, clean the affected area with soap and water before applying medication, our medical consultants say.”
