I received a life-saving liver transplant in May. Praise the Lord! Anyway, because of anti-rejection medication that I must take for the rest of my life, I am not immuno compromised. I must be extremely careful about avoiding illnesses such as this. I use antibacterial hand gel, and always have antibacterial handwipes in my purse/diaper bag for cleaning grocery carts, things that fall on the ground, etc. I wash my hands all the time. I purchase anti-viral tissues. I plan to get the flu shot, both the regular one,a nd the swine flu shot when it comes out. And I encourage my 3 little ones to keep themselves germ-free too.

We are battling the bug this season with homeopathics. I have a flu/cold mist spray that I bought via cellutox. Also, we are taking vitamin D3 daily, probiotics, and rotating other immune boosters like echinachea and C, etc. Olive Leaf, Oregano Oil, and Grapefriuit seed Extract are always on hand in emergencies.

From someone who gets sick very easily. I wash my hands frequently, take my vitamins and eat healthy. When out in the public I always have my handy dandy hand sanitizer ready, willing and able. Thanks for the chance.

I will make sure we all wash our hands frequently. I also plan to have a diet high in Vitamin C! Not sure yet about flu shots because every single person I know who got the flu shot ended up with the flu later! :)

Plenty of sleep always helps, in addition to clean hands and work surfaces. My husband seems to get sick every time a cold virus comes around, and the only thing that really helps him is getting lots of rest. He usually gets very little sleep, which I think is why he’s always sick!
