With a new baby on the way and the kids back in school, we are trying to be more vigilant about keeping healthy around here. Which is a bit of a challenge when their wiping skills are questionable and they usually forget to use soap. The only encouraging thing is that they love hand sanitizer so much that they would bathe in it if they could.
In all seriousness, I am trying not to give into the Swine Flu hysteria, but I do feel like we need to be extra careful with a new little one coming. So we are trying to ramp up the hand washing, attempting (poorly) to get enough sleep and grabbing our multi-vitamins. Another line in our defense, Kleenex Anti-Viral. Unlike other tissues, this one has a middle layer that contains ingredients that kill 99.9% of cold and flu viruses. Now I just have to get my kids to actually throw them in the garbage so that the germs aren’t sitting around our house.
Would you like to try some Kleenex Anti-Viral tissues? Well Kleenex is offering one lucky reader Kleenex Anti-Viral Tissues as well as a $50 Visa Gift Card. Maybe to put towards some masks and rubber gloves for when you go out on the town? You have several chances to win.

I received a life-saving liver transplant in May. Praise the Lord! Anyway, because of anti-rejection medication that I must take for the rest of my life, I am not immuno compromised. I must be extremely careful about avoiding illnesses such as this. I use antibacterial hand gel, and always have antibacterial handwipes in my purse/diaper bag for cleaning grocery carts, things that fall on the ground, etc. I wash my hands all the time. I purchase anti-viral tissues. I plan to get the flu shot, both the regular one,a nd the swine flu shot when it comes out. And I encourage my 3 little ones to keep themselves germ-free too.

We are battling the bug this season with homeopathics. I have a flu/cold mist spray that I bought via cellutox. Also, we are taking vitamin D3 daily, probiotics, and rotating other immune boosters like echinachea and C, etc. Olive Leaf, Oregano Oil, and Grapefriuit seed Extract are always on hand in emergencies.

From someone who gets sick very easily. I wash my hands frequently, take my vitamins and eat healthy. When out in the public I always have my handy dandy hand sanitizer ready, willing and able. Thanks for the chance.

I will make sure we all wash our hands frequently. I also plan to have a diet high in Vitamin C! Not sure yet about flu shots because every single person I know who got the flu shot ended up with the flu later!

We strive to use the best protection – washing hands. It’s a tough thing to remember for my two boys, however.

Plenty of sleep always helps, in addition to clean hands and work surfaces. My husband seems to get sick every time a cold virus comes around, and the only thing that really helps him is getting lots of rest. He usually gets very little sleep, which I think is why he’s always sick!

We wash our hands all day long and when were out we use the Wet Ones. I like to clean my house with the Lysol disinfecting wipes twice a week as well. Thanks for the chance.
