So anyone who has been reading me for any length of time knows I have made some serious strides towards a greener lifestyle. But one area I just can’t seem to make the total leap is in our personal care products. I don’t know what it is, but I just like to use what I have always used. There is a certain comfort in that. So when a company I already know and love makes a greener, more natural product, I get so happy. I don’t have to try something totally new wondering if I will like it, but I don’t have to feel bad about what kind of crazy ingredients I am using.
First of all can I just say, I am a sucker for packaging. I am like a marketer’s dream. Cause I look at this package and I just want it. I love the look so it is a little bit like, “you had me at hello”. Then I discover that even the packaging is “Al Gore” approved, made out of 60% post-consumer recycled packaging. And I absolutely love the pump handle because my older kids can use everything their own. And by on their own I mean without supervision, not “I can do it myself!!” while half the soap container comes out in the tub.
Anywho, there are no parabens, animal by products or dyes involved. Actually 98% of the ingredients naturally derived, but it still has the No More Tears Formula I love. And despite the simple list of ingredients, it had a great smell. My favorite smell is “clean” which I never really know how to describe, but it has it. You know what I mean? It just smells clean. But not creepy perfumy chemically clean. Just clean.
And FYI, the Johnson’s Natural product line consists of the following products:
- Johnson’s Natural Baby Lotion
- Johnson’s Natural HEAD-TO-TOE Foaming Baby Wash
- Johnson’s Natural Baby Shampoo
- Johnson’s Natural Kids 3-in-1 Shampoo Conditioner & Body Wash
- Johnson’s Natural Kids 2-in-1 Hand & Face Foaming Wash
What is not to love about a product you love with less guilt? Do you hear that all things made with chocolate and peanut butter? Work on that will ya???
I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Johnson’s and received the products necessary to facilitate my review. In addition, I received a gift certificate to thank me for taking the time to participate. As always, all opinions are mine.

I hear you with the organic toiletries.
I’m not great with using them either. Mostly because I’m really cheap {I mean frugal!} so I just get whatever is free after rebate at Walgreens or RiteAid!
However, I do recycle the empty containers… does that count for anything?!?

Hmmm… I have seen these and wondered about them myself, partly b/c of the “attractive” packaging! Lol I have no more babies in my house though –
– but these will be making their way into shower gifts in the future, I’m sure!

I love things that say All-Natural on them. The cost of them can make me want to fall off of a chair backwards, but still…..it’s natural, so I’ll spend the money….sometimes
Thanks for hosting! I’ve linked up to it and I look forward to it every week.

I haven’t seen those yet. But I love Johnson and Johnson, they really seem to care and I think that’s why they have lasted for so long as a company.
I got a free copy of Stephanie’s ebook as part of my giveaway and love what I am learning about eating REAL food.

That is really nice packaging. I can be a sucker for that too. Nice to know that it is greener and still smells good.
