I love the creme in the middle! Other cupcakes try to duplicate it but it’s just not the same!!

I’ve haven’t purchased any in a really long time. My mom used to put them in our lunches for school every day. I have very little control when I do buy a box so we now limit them to ‘when traveling’ snacks.

My aunt used to work near the factory in Detroit where they made Hostess and would bring us bags of cakes from the outlet. They were usually smashed but us kids would lick the wrappers clean!

MMM the luscious chocolate, the cream in the middle, the thick rich icing. Mostly the icing. Thank goodness theres a box on my counter in the kitchen. Because now I seriously want a Hostess cupcake.

I love those cupcakes! Yumm!

One time I was at the park pusing my kids on the swings and I kept staring at this brown thing on the ground that I thought might be a turd but it didn’t look quite right… turns out it was a squished hostess cupcake, ha ha!
