It is not a secret that I have an addiction to group buying sites. If you can pass up a $30 full hour massage you are a better woman than I. So my muscles are very relaxed, but we can’t pay our heat bill. Ok so that is an exaggeration, but seriously, I am addicted.
So imagine my delight when I stumbled across yet another site (in addition to Groupon, Living Social, Plum District, Eversave, Seize the Deal, and Mampedia- seriously, a problem- no seriously, am I missing any?). This one. Gaggle of Chicks offers deals for NYC, but recently they have launched nationwide deals. And the great thing is the deals seem to be very kid and mom oriented. It works the same way as the other sites. You get great offerings at a fraction of the price and once a certain amount of moms buy, the deal is officially “hatched.” Then, after making a purchase, you will get a referral code to send to friends so that they can buy it, too. You earn $10 every time someone you invite makes their first Gaggle purchase, and your friends instantly get a $10 credit as soon as they sign up. Wins all around.
They have had some adorable things come up for grabs since I have been getting their deals sent to my inbox. But today I finally jumped on one and got some vinyl lettering for only $15! I am super excited to get their deals in my inbox each day. I am sure it will be yet another site I compulsively buy from until I am living in a van down by the river. But that van will have some kick butt vinyl lettering on the side. So that is the upside.
I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Gaggle of Chicks and received a $50 gift code for the website to facilitate this review.
What do you love this week? Group buying perhaps? Something Christmas-y? I would love to hear about it. Write a post about anything you love, direct your readers back to this carnival, link up below, spread the comment love. Easy peasy. Here are all the Things I Love Thursday guidelines.

Sounds like a real challenge to one’s will power. I think I’m better off not joining.

I recently found a Green version of those sites! It’s so tempting to buy stuff, that’s my only issue with them. Believe it or not, I love brussels sprouts, so that’s what I’m linking up today.

I goofed–the link that says (Boudreaux’s Butt Paste) should say (Tom’s of Maine). Right link, wrong title. Oops!

Wow, I will have to come back and sign up for that this afternoon during naptime. If I do it now, I miss shower time while hubby is still home.
