If you have read my blog for any length of time you know my struggle with living green. I want to do it, I know I should do it, but sometimes it is just soo hard. And I am just soo lazy. Giving up paper bags, easy. Giving up my cleaning wipes, painful.
So I love it when a company comes along that just makes things easy. Ecostore makes great products for you and your home that are all free of yucky chemicals. That is a technical term. This means everything is biodegradable in packages that are easily recyclable. Their products aren’t tested on cute little bunnies. They won’t expose your pets and kiddos to scary things. What is not to love?
I’ll tell you what else I love. The smell. Their laundry liquid smells like heaven. Seriously, I have never smelled anything like it. The Citrus Cleaner, citrusy heaven. And the Lemongrass soap. Oh my goodness, it smells like a lemon drop. I just can’t get over how good this stuff smells. Which I guess is secondary to the fact that they really do work
And here is the deal, often times “earthy” stuff equals expensive stuff. I will admit this is why I don’t often buy green. But Ecostore’s products are much more concentrated than typical cleaners so you don’t need near as much so you can stretch your money a bit further. And while their products used to only be available online with shipping costs, now they are available at my favorite grocery store, Meijer. Or through my blog, cause I am giving away some laundry soap!! Did I mention the heavenly smell?
To win, head over to The Ecostore and tell me which product most interests you. For a second entry, participate in my weekly carnival “Things I Love Thursday.” The guidelines can be found here. To get your second entry, you must leave a second comment letting me know you linked in in Mr. Linky. I realize that is redundant, but I draw the winners from the comments, not Mr. Linky. If you don’t leave a second comment, you will not get a second entry. The contest ends next Wed. night, April 8. Enter away and link away.
*The winner of last week’s Fiber One basket’s are Candace, Amanda, and Misti. Congrats ladies, enjoy your pampering.

I would try the dishwasher soap…I use an eco-friendly one now and am always open to another one. It feels so much better to use something that you know does not have lots of chemicals and other yucky things in it. Even if you use this then next time you need some, go back to regular and switch them out, you’re still doing the earth a favor.

Ooh – this is awesome, Jill! Thanks for the tip – I’ll have to check them out at Meijer.
I am super excited about the the pure oxygen whitener cause I do have some bleach in my house (white porcelien sink needs to stay white!), but i always feel bad about using it…

WOW! Thanks for posting this site. I will probably place an order soon. I love to smell things – and especially love the smell of clean laundry – I think that I would like that laundry soap or the coconut bar soap!!! Really anything on that site I would love:) Thanks

I’m most interested in the Citris Spray Cleanser. I’ve found some good non-chemical, all-natural products that I like but not for a Spray Cleanser. Thanks for the site link though, I’ll have to check out some of the other!

From the website I like the baby care items I am always looking for good body wash for my daughter who has sensitive skin. $10 is still less than the $12 I pay at Target for California Baby.
