This week is a straight up thing I love. No reviews, no disclaimers, no giveaways (sorry, but one is coming next week). And I want to apologize for lackluster posting this week, but this is the cold that won’t die. So I have lost a bit of my blogging mojo. Hopefully it will be back soon.
I have mentioned before on my blog that I have some raccoon eyes so I have a really hard time finding concealer that actually covers up my dark circles. I like an undereye concealer to be really creamy as well because at times my eyes can get dried out and flakey.
I bought Cover Girl Simply Ageless Concealer on a whim because there was a good sale on it a few weeks back at one of the drugstores. I can’t remember the last time I found a concealer I loved so well. It is super creamy and provides great coverage. It is swirled with Olay moisturizers that are supposed to help with the appearance of fine lines and help with aging. I don’t know anything about that because I am ridiculously young. Not a wrinkle in site. Ahem.
What do you love this week? I am sorry I haven’t been getting around to reading all of you every week. I am behind in everything. Please don’t come over because my house is downright scary.

I have given up on concealer. It always looks horrible – worse than whatever I am trying to conceal. But if you say so… I’ll try it (next time it goes on sale).

There are only like 2 shades I think. So I just went with light. Most drugstores will let you return cosmetics. So I say try and if it doesn’t work return.

Oh I have the most insane skin! *cry* It’s combination (part dry, part oily) so I am never sure what will work on my face and what will cause break-outs. I haven’t really tried concealers yet, but I might go check out Cover Girl

I have two favorite concealers. One is by Stila and the other is Cover Girl in the stick. It’s white and I blend it with my makeup and apply with a concealer brush.
And I need the lightness there because I have total blackness under my eyes!!!

I just picked up a CG one in a tube (for free!). It’s working pretty good. I also paid $20 for an Arbonne concealer and I’m not all that impressed. I will have to try the simply ageless one. Thanks for the tip!

I have bad undereye circles too…I’ve used a ton of different concealers, and none have come close to doing the job of Wet N Wild’s (I think it’s NYC now). Very cheap (less than $2), but it worked!
