This could be the shortest blog post in the history of blog posts. Cause I just used the words “Coldstone Creamery” and “Hot Chocolate” in the title. It is kind of a Jerry MacGuire “you had me at hello” kind of moment isn’t it?
Ok so perhaps you would like to know more (or perhaps you have already stopped reading this post and are on your way to the store to buy some). It is a hot chocolate of the instant powdered mix variety, but it is made with real chocolate. It isn’t quite as thick as what you would get at a coffee shop, but it is super tasty for instant. I got the dark chocolate one (of course) but it also comes in milk chocolate, marshmallow and reduced calorie. I frankly am all for watching what you eat, but reduced calorie chocolate is not something I can get behind. But maybe you can.
I am going to let you in on a little hot chocolate secret. When I was at Walmart picking up my hot chocolate, I discovered the most glorious addition to my Christmas season drinking. They make gingerbread marshmallows. They are shaped like cute little gingerbread men, taste like gingerbread and give off an amazing gingerbread smell. Stir yourself up a mug of hot chocolate, drop a few (or a handful) in. Let them melt a little bit so they infuse their flavor and sip. It is giving the Starbucks Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate a serious run for its money. And speaking of money, I don’t have to take out a second mortgage to feed my addiction.
This post was sponsored by Collective Bias and I was compensated for my time. As usual all opinions and chocolate addictions are mine.
What are you loving this week. Write a post about it and link back to this carnival so others can play along. Then add your link below and hop around visiting everyone else to see what they love. It is super easy. All other questions can hopefully be answered in the Things I Love Thursday Guidelines.

I’m not a huge hot chocolate person myself, but when I do want some chocolate, I make it the South American way — melting chocolate bars (made of cocoa, sugar and soy lecithin and nada mas) into milk and/or water. Wonderful with breakfast on a cold morning.

I’ve wondered so many times if the Cold Stone Cocoa was any good… something about putting my favorite ice cream (cold) with hot chocolate (hot – duh), made me hesitant to try it… Lol And the gingerbread marshmallows sound divine!!

Serving a hot chocolate this winter is a perfect fit. Every morning I ask my wife to serve me with it. Most of my children don’t like it, they just like the chocolate bars. Only me and my youngest daughter are interested in it.

Oh my goodness, gingerbread marshmallows? I’d love those in hot chocolate! I don’t think I’ll be able to find them here in England, but I can just imagine how good they must taste!! I’ve written about Jakemans cough candies – I normally loathe cough candies but these ones really are good and they are sold in the US as well as the UK
