We use Bounty as well, although I *love* Viva paper towels…super duper soft! I’m just too cheap to by them. ;) And I refuse to settle for anything other than Charmin Ultra Soft. No sandpaper for me, thankyouverymuch!

I am new here and following you on Twitter thanks to PS He Loves you.

Anyway, I do not skimp on Peanut Butter. Jif only. And I’m pretty happy with Target brand TP and PT (paper towel).

    I’ll be back! :-)

Im not a paper towel user.. I use cloth towels for everything! So, I don’t really know the differences in paper towel brands.

Bama mayo here all of the way! I use Bounty Basic or Sparkle paper towels. We use most any tp. Mainly Charmin, Cottonelle or Angel Soft.

    Great post! Blessings!

  6. I don’t compromise on condiments. We only use Heinz ketchup, French’s mustard, and Kraft mayo. Everything else I go generic or lowest price!

  7. I generally get paper towels from Costco so I can get a lot. I’m not particularly brand loyal though.
I’m really not good at picking THINGS for this carnival. I’ll have to work on that…

Do NOT skimp on the tissues! When you need to blow your nose 40 bazillion times in one day with a cold you will be glad you got the 3 ply with lotion rather than the cheap-o brand that’s more like sand paper! ;)

I am new to your Things I Love Thursday!

I love Bounty for when I need a soft towel to clean with. I use them on my kitchen and bathroom cabinets and to polish furniture.

When I clean my windows I like to use Scott Towels. They are harder and leave a streak free finish.

Christina our new born daughter helped me realize how much my husband Frank loved me. You can’t believe the amount of joy when he gifted me a beautiful gold medal with the words “World’s greatest achievement” engraved on it. I don’t skimp on TP or tissues. I kinda skimp on diapers but not really. I never use store brand because my kids have sensitive little bums. I go for LUVS. Not the most expensive not the least.

I’m with you on paper towels (Bounty, of course) and toilet paper (Cottonelle). I also refuse to be frugal on tissues (Puffs with lotion all the way) and paper napkins (Bounty–have you tried these?).
Have a fantastic time this weekend!! So jealous.

Toilet paper is our thing we don’t go cheap on. That and dish soap. Unless we’re really doing poorly on our budget, we try to go for Charmin and DAwn. :)

Pampers diapers. Probably the most expensive brand, but nothing beat’s ‘em. Plus, there are ALWAYS coupons, so I don’t feel quite as guilty.

  18. I use paper towels way to often then I should also. I use either bounty or viva, which are the best but pretty expensive.

  19. I’m with you on paper towels and tp (LOVE Bounty!). I don’t skimp on – um- feminine products. I also don’t skimp on facial tissue- aka- kleenex. It has to be either Puffs or Kleenex with lotion in it. Otherwise my nose just gets so raw.

I am very frugal at heart, too, but I have several things I will not skimp on either. I have always called myself a “diaper snob” because I would only buy Pampers – the generic diapers felt like cardboard. If I wouldn’t put it on my own rear, I wouldn’t put it on my baby’s. I also only buy tissue with lotion, but I do not care which kind it is. I have recently discovered the store brand ultra toilet paper at Walgreens, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. It is thick and soft, and I stock up when it is on sale. The sale price is cheaper than Angel Soft at Wal-Mart. Plus, I don’t need to use as much, which saves me even more in the long run. So on the tp, it is frugal and noncompromising all rolled into one! I guess the last non-skimping item is Scrubbing Bubble Mega Shower Foamer. I bought one with a coupon and followed the directions, and cleaning my shower has never been so easy. Seriously, I think I could be a spokesperson for that stuff!

Toilet Paper for us too! We’re Angel Soft people. I also won’t go cheap on diapers (Pampers, Huggies or Luvs are the only ones that haven’t leaked on my son)….wipes (Huggies Supreme)….coffee (I’m a coffee snob and can’t tolerate most supermarket brands!!)….

We’ve discovered the Sam’s Club brand (Members Mark) paper towels are just as good. I do, however, spend the extra $ on the Bounty paper napkins.
