When you have a child, one of the most important things you focus on is the nursery. Seriously, one would think that the future happiness of that child is completely wrapped up in how that nursery comes together. But if you have “modern” sensibilities sometimes it is hard to find things that fit your taste. Well unless you want to spend their entire college fund on decorating.
The guys behind A Modern Eden felt the same way. So they created some great kids stuff that are design minded. Let’s start with the flash cards because they are my absolute favorite!! Each animal graphic is so well done and they are printed on thick, quality stock so they can take a bit of a beating. I am so excited for Silas to get to the age we can use these to teach him animals and animal sounds. Absolutely adorable.
Want to save the earth and look good doing it. I think Al Gore would agree that both are equally important. Made out of 100% recycled cotton, their tote bags are perfect for taking to the grocery store or, better yet, farmer’s market. Choose from an adorable apple print or a hip tree print.

Just linked up my doggie love! And I too love it when a product for kids is tough yet stylish. It’s so fun to let kids be kids with their toys instead of worrying they will break it. (I’ve lost me quite a few flashcards to baby teeth. Sigh!)
I do love reusable totes though. Those are great! But sadly, no IPhone here…

I really like the flashcards, and I know that my 13-month-old son would enjoy them! He loves regular playing cards a lot, so something educational would be even better. These products remind me a lot of the Charlie Harper products.
