  1. Ahh, yes. I’m familiar with this type of comment.

I’m new to your blog though I’ve seen your name around alot. I did the liveblog at BlogHer some during the RNC and I think you were there. I look forward to reading here some more.

  2. HA ha! I bet if she was MY kid, she’d be DYING to come home every day.

I keep trying to tell my kids I’m not that great. Don’t want them to be too disappointed when they figure that out for themselves.

    I hear ya.

A.P. was crushed Saturday morning when I told him it wasn’t a school day. The only saving grace for him today was that he got to go to WOW (Wee Ones Worship) and that’s “kinda like school”.

  4. We have been having lots of those conversations lately too about Kindergarten! My guy almost had a melt down when we told him he’d have 3 days of for the Labor Day holiday weekend. I’m just trying to enjoy it while it lasts. :)

At least you know she is having fun:-)

When I was a kid I would cry when my mom would pick me up from daycare (instead of when I was dropped off)–because I wanted to stay and play with the other kids!

LOL – no worries, most kids say that. I have the feeling it’s especially girls. I know my now-9-year old said exactly the same thing when she started kindergarten!
