This post title reminded me of a few Christmases ago; I mentioned to my mom that I’d like the Harry Connick Jr. Christmas CD. After all the presents were opened, she told me that she’d looked several places without being able to find the Ray Conniff Singers Christmas CD that I’d wanted…thank goodness she didn’t find it!

The Way you look tonight. I’ve been a fan of his for quite some time. I LOVE him in Hope Floats!!!
My daughter is now a fan as well, after growing up listening to his Christmas albums year after year, she is a huge fan of his old time big band tunes.

Oh, Harry. I have been in love with him since high school. My sister took me to see him in concert for my birthday one year, and O. My. That man played everything on the stage, even things that weren’t instruments. My favorite song of all time is Barkley Square (maybe 21?). I loved his kids album too. But my fave new one is The Way You Look Tonight, only cuz I got a free download.
Oh, Harry.

Anything!!! He could sing the phone book to me. I basically wanted to comment to share my Harry story. He came into Blind Charlies in Pound Ridge, NY with his daughters and father-in-law for breakfast the morning after Thanksgiving while I was there with my visiting family. Very cool.

I love Harry too, but I have to agree with you. Still good, but just not the same. He was on TV over here (in Australia), and he performed ‘Just the Way You Are’. It kind of left me all ‘meh’ instead of all ‘squeeeeee!’

I really like Harry Connick, Jr., this CD sounds like it’s another GREAT!!! CD I think all of his music is wonderful. I love the way he sing the older songs that Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett did. I also like the songs ” Close to You “by the Carpenters and ” Your Song ” by Billy Joel.
