For a while I have had some ideas rattling around in my brain. (Seriously rattling. It gets emptier and emptier in there with each kid). You see, I LOVED blogging The Challenge. So much so that I blogged it twice. The response was really amazing and I have considered kicking off the new year with round three. But the fact is as much as I think physical intimacy is important, I really am passionate about all kinds of intimacy in marriage. Physical, emotional, spiritual…all the uals. I toyed around with starting another blog focused on marriage, but oy vey! I can barely keep up with this one. So begins a new weekly series, “Marriage Unwrapped.”
My hope is that I will be able to share some of my own marriage ups and downs. The hubby is eager to make a few appearances. I really want to get some guest posts as well from people with different experiences than we have. And I don’t want it to be all sunshine and roses, because marriage just isn’t wonderful all the time. And if you are in a season of struggling in your marriage I want this series to be a place you can come and find encouragement.
So I hope you will tune in, spread the word, throw some comments my way. And mostly commit to making 2011 the year your marriage is the best yet. I am so excited to see what is in store.

I can’t wait! This is perfect during this time in my life! Sign me up to guest post!!! I could talk for days about marriage’s ups and downs!
Oh, and got your other email, too. need to reply to that! sorry!

As somebody who was once divorced and then remarried the same person (!) I always love discussions about marriage/intimacy/relationships. The truth is we just have so much power to change our own love relationships for the better–often for the dramatically better–if we are willing to try, to forgive, to make it a priority.
Can’t wait to see what you write about!

oh, i’m excited! I have been wondering if you’d do the challenge again (i was a relative newlywed at the time and our firstborn was conceived in the midst of the challenge
)
but i personally am glad you’re gonna do this new thing instead of redoing the challenge since baby #2 is coming soon and i think the birth would be timed so that, erm, i wouldn’t be able to keep up with the other blog series.
Looking forward to reading ‘marriage unwrapped’!! God bless you

Can’t wait to read this series! I just made sure I am subscribed so I can keep up. What day of the week did you say it will be on? (or did you say?)

I think this series will be great. I’d love to hear from others how they clung to their spouse in the midst of life’s turmoil.

I’m sooooo excited about this. Although I have to admit – my husband may be a little disappointed that there’s not going to be a challenge part 2
. My spiritual passion is marriage (that sounds weird, but I don’t know how else to word it). Can’t wait to see what you have in store.

I’m glad you’re doing this. Mark and I have been through two rounds of marriage counseling through our church and it’s been so amazing. Your marriage doesn’t have to be sick to warrant time and nurturing and attention, and I love that you know that too.
Excited to see what comes of this!!!
