I wish! LOL Don’t know you guys can afford it in this economy. DaHubby and I aren’t even exchanging gifts this year. Kids getting homemade and hand-me-down gifts. No credit cards here (thank you Dave Ramsey) and have too many other things (car tires, swim lessons, birthday parties, etc.) to save for to have enough cash by then.

LMAO! Thanks for the mental image! I would “love” to go to one of these conferences… if someone would just decide to host one in Seattle I’d be all over it! Even Portland, heck, let’s go international and have it in Vancouver! Show the Northwest some love people!
But for this particular weekend we already have plans… I bet my weekend will be hotter than yours… marriage retreat sans kid!

You just expressed all of my feelings. I was at Bunko this week trying to explain blogging to some of the ladies. Even the ladies that knew about blogging were amazed that people nation wide read my blog and that I have advertisers and am
“a real blogger”. I am amazed myself sometimes and I have the same Sally Field experience.
I really, really, really want to go, but it is not going to happen this year.

Too cool! I would love to go, but I have no idea what I would do with four kids for a whole weekend. My blog will have to remain in the stone ages for now.

How fun! Looking forward to reading all about it once you return…also would love to hear more about the reactions you are getting;-)
I can just imagine my Grandmother’s reaction if I were to go to a blogging conference….she’d worry that I was going to meet a bunch of crazy people, and would definitely be concerned for my safety. Come to think of it, she’d probably stand behind my car if I tried to drive to the airport–blocking my way!
