I was in on a delivery recently (not mine, unfortunately) that went so quickly like that. However, the docs and nurses didn’t believe that she was delivering (it was her 3rd kid and they wouldn’t believe her…). The baby ended up shooting out ONTO THE BED. Good thing they hadn’t broken it down yet!!!
The dr had on 1 glove at the time.
Your experience, while painful, sounds great AND encouraging being at 38+ weeks. It IS #2, but the nerves are starting to appear.
I think our 2-year-old girls could be great friends if we lived near each other. They sound like 2 peas in a pod!!!
Mine’s b-day was May 17, so they’re really close in age! Happy Birthday, Hannah!

Happy Birthday to Hannah! Fantastic birth story! Sure beats the heck out of mine–both start, “We arrived the hospital at 5:30 am, right on time for Mommy’s scheduled c-section…”
