Frugal Friday- Priority Club Rewards

December 4, 2008

A few weeks back, I mentioned how I got 75% of my Christmas shopping done this year through cashing in points from credit and debit card purchases. Score!! Well since then I have discovered yet another way to earn points that can be used for travel and gifts. And you get them by, you guessed it traveling and buying gifts.

If you are a regular traveler (or your hubby is) and you are not taking advantage of signing up for a loyalty program, you are missing the boat. And I have found a great one. Priority Club Rewards gives you points for staying in any InterContinental Hotels Group which includes Holiday Inn and a few others.

But I don’t travel you say. Well the best part is, you can earn points from the coziness of your own home. Priority Club has partnered with over 200 retailers online including Old Navy (yea!!) and Target (double yea!!). So when you shop online through the Priority Club Shopping you earn points. Those points can in turn be redeemed for more clothes (yea!!) Christmas presents (double yea!!) or a night or two away from the kids with the hubby (bow chicka!!).

I love the idea of getting rewarded for shopping. Seriously love the idea. Wishing I could make a career out of shopping. Do you think it would work if I told the hubby I desperately HAD to shop at Target.com so we can get some “quality time” away? I think I might be onto something ;)
