Frugal Friday- New Swagbucks Toolbar

September 3, 2009

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

frugalfriday  Back in the spring I did a post on Swagbucks, the search engine that rewards you for searching with Swagbucksthat you can redeem for a bunch of prizes. It is ridiculously easy and you can typically earn about 1-5 Swagbucks a day just for doing searches you are probably doing anyway.

Well the most helpful way I have found to remember to use Swagbucks for my searches (cause my brain just automatically types in Google without thinking) is to install their toolbar. It is very easy to do and then it is always there on my browser reminding me to use it. This month, Swagbucks has unveiled a new toolbar and they are basically rewarding you even more than normal just for using it.

For the month of September, there will be exclusive codes that you can find on your toolbar on a daily basis. Enter the codes on the Swagbucks website and you get one swagbuck. For those of you like me who struggle with math (or the weird months that have only 30 days), that means in September you can earn 30 swagbucks and you don’t even have to do a single search. You will just click on a little button in your toolbar that says “from TSG” when it says you have a message to find the daily code.

Ridiculously easy. So easy a monkey could do it. Not that I am comparing your intelligence to a monkey per se, I just want to be clear about the ease of use. I am pretty sure you are much brighter than a monkey. Either way, go download that toolbar.

You know, I downloaded the toolbar and did notice that little ‘From TSG’ spot – but had no idea what it meant. I already missed a few codes – but won’t miss any more. Thanks!!
