Frugal Friday- Huggies Enjoy The Ride

March 11, 2010

Yet another week of telling you a way to get free things for buying things you probably already are buying. And apparently this is the week to talk diapers. I suppose that is fitting since this is THE DIAPER DIARIES. Which by the way has a new button. Look ma, I made my very own blog button. So grab it from the sidebar and put it on your blog. All the cool kids are doing it (not a inappropriate segue at all).

Anyway, are you using Huggies rewards program? I have to admit that I have thrown away many a diaper package paying no attention to the sticker with a code on it. But no more. You simply enter the code over on Enjoy the Ride Rewards. You can cash in those points for prizes, to enter sweepstakes or to play fun little interactive games to win instant gift cards.

In poking around the website, I also see that you can earn points by watching quick videos, taking polls, referring friends and surfing Huggies related sites. So easy. Also I discovered a bunch of codes over on Money Saving Mom. Not sure they are all still valid, but it wouldn’t hurt to try. And I have a feeling if you googled around you might find some more. I am too lazy to do that for you, but knock yourself out. I might attempt it while watching TV this weekend cause I have my eye on a super cute bib for the little man.

Jill is the author of The Diaper Diaries. She has been changing diapers for 6+ years as a stay at home mom of three children. She also has a devoted husband who graciously puts up with this little internet hobby. They all probably wishes she would exercise a bit more discretion as she shares their life's ups, downs and in-betweens with anyone willing to read it. You can (almost always) find her on Twitter @DiaperDiaries.

I don’t use huggies diapers (we’re pampers people), but after seeing all those codes floating around, I decided just to start entering them. They do add up. I went through all those old codes and many many are still valid. I have about 100 huggies points and have never bought a huggies diaper. I’ll take it.

It was a great segue. I use it with my 1 and 3 year olds- is that bad?

Definitely make the t-shirt, by the way- I’m sure he’ll wear it with pride, especially if it’s, say, pink and green.
