Frugal Friday- Free Food!!

This is a good week for the food lovers. Specifically for the carb lovers. And since I have given up sweets for Lent, carbs are all I got baby. And there are some free carbs to be had in the next week. Hallelujah!!

This Saturday, February 20th at Auntie Anne’s Pretzels, between 10 and 3,  you can get yourself a free original or cinnamon pretzel. But therein lies the dilemma. What a cruel, cruel choice. They say limit one per person. I am wondering if Silas counts as a person. Cause I am thinking the little man might need a pretzel. Don’t you?

Secondly, on Tuesday, February 23, IHOP is having its annual National Pancake Day celebration. From 7am -10 pm, you can get a free short stack of pancakes. In return they do ask that you consider making a donation to the Children’s Miracle Network, but that is a fantastic cause. And if my eating pancakes will save children, then darn it, I will eat pancakes. Maybe some bacon too. I am a giver.
