Frugal Friday- Ebeanstalk Motherboard

October 2, 2008

Way back in the day, in one of my first “Things I Love Thursday” posts was about Ebeanstalk, a company whose philosophy so strongly believe in. They are a toy company that doesn’t just sell a bunch of toys with lights and music to entertain our kids, but toys that help our children developmentally and educationally.

This year they have expanded their site to be even more comprehensive and sell all sorts of things that every child need from newborn through early school. It is exciting to watch the company grow. Their toys might not always be the cheapest toys, but that is the point. They aren’t cheaply made toys. They are high quality toys that will last. But what I love is that they have many opportunities for free shipping (when you buy their gift series or spend more than $65).

But here is an opportunity for even more savings. For several years now, I have been one of the founding members of Ebeanstalk’s Motherboard. We are a group of moms who have helped test and recommend toys for their site. Well, they are looking to expand their Motherboard and you might be the perfect person for it. Here is what they are looking for:

1. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Moms with kids between the ages of 0-8 years of age.

2. WHAT’S EXPECTED:

  • For moms to email us their favorite toys as they get new toys.
  • From time to time go through the ebeanstalk site and tell us what toys they like or don’t like and why.
  • It’s just that simple.

What do you get in return for your help? 15% off purchase you make on their site. How helpful with the holidays coming up. I really hope you will take advantage of helping out this company and promoting what they do. If you are interested please email Kyle Garrity at kgarrity@ebeanstalk.com and he will give you the code necessary for your discount.

Jill is the author of The Diaper Diaries. She has been changing diapers for 6+ years as a stay at home mom of three children. She also has a devoted husband who graciously puts up with this little internet hobby. They all probably wishes she would exercise a bit more discretion as she shares their life's ups, downs and in-betweens with anyone willing to read it. You can (almost always) find her on Twitter @DiaperDiaries.

Thank you for posting the link to this website. I think that this is exactly what my mother-in-law was looking for. She wants to buy educational, as well as fun, gifts for the boys this Christmas so I am forwarding this site to her.

By the way, I just wanted to let you know that I tagged you!
