Frugal Friday- Arby’s Free Wednesdays

So last week, I went to Arby’s on Wednesday to take advantage of their freebies, came home, tweeted about it and was amazed at the response. I thought this was a well known deal, but apparently it wasn’t. And people apparently are itchin’ for some free Arby’s. So here is the deal:

Every Wednesday throughout the summer, Arby’s will be giving some food item away free with a minimal purchase.  Not all Arby’s are apparently participating, but locally every Arby’s I have seen have a bunch of signs out front on Wednesday advertising their deals so it is pretty easy to spot them. And the lines aren’t that long so people must not be paying any attention to those signs. You can click here to call ahead and see  if your Arby’s is participating.

Here is a calendar for their upcoming promotions:

JULY
8 – Free Orange Cream Swirl Shake with any sandwich purchase
15 – Free Regular Roast Beef with any soft drink purchase
22 – Free Roastburger with any soft drink purchase
29 – Free Iced FruiTea with any sandwich purchase

AUGUST
5 – Free Regular Roast Beef with any soft drink purchase
12 – Free Roast Chicken Club with any soft drink purchase
19 – Free Iced FruiTea with any sandwich purchase
26 – Free Regular Beef ‘n Cheddar with any soft drink purchase

I don’t typically grab food at Arby’s so this is a great promotion to get me in the door. The sandwich ones are amazing because you basically get a meal for less than $2 after you buy a drink. Of course, I add in some curly fries cause nobody does fries like Arby’s. Hmmm…..curly fries…….

   That’s an awesome tip! I’m really more on Team Cheeseburger, but I’m willing to lay aside my differences when I can get a free sandwich for the price of a coke. Unless it’s the price of a coke at the movies, because that wouldn’t be a savings at all.
