To make every vote in every state politically relevant and equal in presidential elections, support the National Popular Vote bill.

The National Popular Vote bill would guarantee the Presidency to the candidate who receives the most popular votes in all 50 states (and DC). The bill would take effect only when enacted by states possessing a majority of the electoral votes (270 of 538). When the bill comes into effect, all the electoral votes from those states would be awarded to the presidential candidate who receives the most popular votes in all 50 states (and DC).

The bill is currently endorsed by 1,181 state legislators — 439 sponsors (in 47 states) and an additional 742 legislators who have cast recorded votes in favor of the bill.

The National Popular Vote bill has been approved by 21 legislative chambers (one house in CO, AR, ME, NC, and WA, and two houses in MD, IL, HI, CA, MA, NJ, RI, and VT). It has been enacted into law in Hawaii, Illinois, New Jersey, and Maryland. These states have 50 (19%) of the 270 electoral votes needed to bring this legislation into effect.

ha! when i joined the gym i told my husband that i wasn't sure i would stick with the working out part but i was sure that i would at least take advantage of the fact that i could leave the kids in childcare long enough to go to the bathroom, take a hot shower and dry my hair all by myself! Caught an ad for the new season of “The Bachelor” last night. Apparently this really wonderful father is bringing his kid along to help pick out a new mommy. Am I the only one disturbed by that??
I told my husband if I die I would come back and haunt him if he chose that dating route to find our kids a new mom. I even think Jesus would give me special permission to come back and kick his fanny for pulling a stunt like that!!
